                     Une bien triste nouvelle concernant notre vallée

Notre vallée, déjà fortement impactée par la pollution liée au trafic routier et aux activités humaines. Une vallée souffrant des nuisances sonores importantes liées à ce trafic routier et au trafic aérien déjà existant.

Malgré ce malheureux constat, La Société SAF Aérogroup, la plus grande compagnie d'Hélicoptère en France, installe une hélisurface permanente au centre de notre vallée, dans le hameau de Taconnaz, Commune des Houches, communauté de communes de Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
Une action entreprise dans la plus grande discrétion à ce jour.

L' autorisation d'une Hélisurface, sur un terrain privé, est de la compétence de la préfecture, et la Mairie n'a aucun pouvoir sur l'autorisation de cette création mais devrait de positionner avec force..

Les élus des communes concernées peuvent donner un avis consultatif sur le bien fondé de cette installation en raison des nuisances engendrées.

                                        Il est urgent de dire STOP

Il est urgent qu'une action citoyenne des résidents de la Vallée de Chamonix demande des comptes sur cette nouvelle atteinte à notre environnement :

– Une nouvelle Hélisurface permanente trop près de la zone agglomération, trop bruyante et trop polluante pour le voisinage.

– Une nouvelle Hélisurface permanente au cœur d'une vallée touristique, dans un endroit trop étroit, située trop près des parois amplifiant les décibels des appareils et causant des nuisances sonores importantes aux villages de Taconnaz et des Bossons, mais également sur toute la vallée.

– Une nouvelle hélisurface permanente située en zone de risque torrentiel ou des accidents de polluants peuvent atteindre la rivière de l'Arve ainsi que la zone de captage d'eau de Clair Temps située à proximité

– Une nouvelle hélisurface permanente sur laquelle le nombre de mouvement journalier et annuel peut-être illimité en raison de la spécificité du travail aérien

– Une nouvelle hélisurface permanente pouvant accueillir plusieurs appareils différents dont le SUPER PUMA du SAF, hélicoptère très puissant mais également très bruyant

NOS ELUS des Houches et tous ceux de la communauté de Communes de la vallée de Chamonix doivent agir et demander au préfet, en raison de toutes ces nuisances, l 'interdiction d'une hélisurface permanente.

Chaque élu devrait se positionner à titre individuel sur les sujets concernant notre environnement en dehors de toute considération partisane.

AGAINST a permanent helipad in Taconnaz, at the Viale gravel pit.
         Municipality of HOUCHES - Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley

                      We share some very sad news about our valley

Our valley is already strongly impacted by pollution from road traffic and human activities. It is a valley suffering from significant noise pollution linked to this road traffic and the already existing air traffic.

Despite this, the SAF Aérogroup company, the largest helicopter company in France, is installing a permanent helipad in the center of our valley, in the hamlet of Taconnaz, Commune of Les Houches, in the community of communes of Chamonix Mont-Blanc.

This action has been undertaken in near secrecy to date.

The authorisation of a Helipad, on private land, is the responsibility of the prefecture, and the Town Hall of Les Houches has no direct power over the authorisation of this creation - but the mayor should position herself with force against this authorisation.

The elected officials of the municipalities concerned can give an advisory opinion on the merits of this installation because of the many problems it will generate.

                                         It is urgent that we say STOP

Urgent citizen action by residents and admirers of the Chamonix Valley must demand accountability for this new attack on our environment:

– The new permanent helipad is situated too close to residences - it will be noisy and polluting for this residential neighbourhood.

– The new permanent helipad is in the very heart of a tourist valley, is in a place that is too narrow, located too close to the walls of the valley, which will serve to amplify the decibels of the rotor blades , causing significant noise pollution in the villages of Taconnaz and Les Bossons and throughout the valley.

– The new permanent helipad is located in a flood risk zone where pollutants such as helicopter fuel will be stored - accidents spilling this could affect the Arve river as well as the nearby Clair Temps water catchment area and communities downstream

– The new permanent helipad may host an unlimited number of daily and annual flights due to the specificity of aerial work

– The new permanent helipad can accommodate several different aircraft including the SAF SUPER PUMA, a very powerful and very noisy helicopter

OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS from Les Houches and from of the community of Communes of the Chamonix valley must act now and demand that the prefect, because of all these foreseeable problems, forbids the installation of a permanent helipad in this location.

Each elected official should position themselves individually on this subject concerning our environment, outside of any partisan consideration.
