The fact that I'm posting this update now speaks to the length of time it takes to make a meaningful difference in our state's laws. Since I last asked you to support this petition, Rep. Mark Rozzi has not given up his fight to give the victims of childhood sexual abuse justice.

The recently released Grand Jury reports shed new light on abuses that have been covered up by almost every diocese in Pennsylvania. However, the Senate is still giving into pressure from Catholic Church and insurance lobbyists and is resistant to supporting legislation that allows victims to receive justice. 

However, Rep. Mark Rozzi is working hard to build a counter-movement of supporters in favor of the legislation.
