Update September 13, 2016

Hello Everyone - thanks again for all your support. We have 1679 supports as of today. That is far more than I ever expected to have - especially in a very short period. The effort to spread this word was huge but still has a ways to go. Most supporters are from Coconut Creek. We need to engage Deerfield Beach, Pompano, Margate and all points south. I have been working the last few days to gather information and talk to various groups that can help us. I've met with city officials that have provided some background and process information. We need to get with county officials and see where they stand. The more names on this petition the more they will listen to our side. On Thursday September 15th, 7:30pm, at the Coconut Creek North Rec Center (on Lyons by the Firestation) the Coconut Creek Vice Mayor is holding a meeting to discuss anything related to Coconut Creek. I expect this to be a big part of the discussion. I also am going to hold an organizational meeting after that meeting to get volunteers for the various functions we will need. I'm trying to get more officials to show up to discuss. The more people at this meeting the more they will know this issue is not going to go away.
