Nebraska Legislative Bill 816 paired with LB - 58 is a violation of our constitutional rights, both Nebraska and United States, and is the beginning of gun confiscation. These bills paired together are a treasonous act, an attempt to violate our constitutional rights and should never be allowed to become law. The people that have proposed and support these bills are violating their oath of office along with our constitutional rights. Our “right to bear arms” is a constitutional right and it “shall not be infringed”. In the Nebraska Constitution it says “shall not be denied or infringed by the state or any subdivision thereof”. Passing these bills would be an infringement and a violation of our constitutional rights. We the people, citizens of the United States of America and citizens of Nebraska are asking for these proposals to be removed permanently, and those people that have made the treasonous decisions to make an attempt in violating our constitutional rights be held accountable for their actions.
