Support From The Community

The Issue

The New Liberty Land Project For Immediate Release It has come to our attention that there is a Major need for an Amusement Facility in the Memphis TN area. And we have been asked to assist in the planning, building and operation of just such a facility to be based on a 501c3 operation. (None Profit) The main drive of this project is as follows. 1. To employee youth who are at risk and who are undereducated or lack work experience. 2. To provide a safe and clean environment for family entertainment at the lowest possible cost to them, and so doing promote family values. 3. To provide not only a place of employment but a place for continuing education where persons desiring there GED or full High School Diploma can attend classes and by their work at the park be paid for their time, removing the obstacles to a better education. This can be done by also providing at no charge child day care to the worker who is enrolled in this program. 4. To help fund scholarships for higher education to anyone who excels in the program and may never get the chance to attend a collage without this kind of support system. 5. To break the cycle of poverty, social despair and injustice inflicted on the poorest within the community. All lofty goals to be sure, but very obtainable provided the entire community comes together and supports this idea. This is a call to action by every person and group who cares about the future of Memphis! This is a grass roots operation from start to finish that will require financial support from everyone as well as the full support of the City Leadership, Churches, Local Business Leaders and Education System. But most of all you the general public We are asking the city who owns the land area known as Liberty land (Former Amusement Park) to turn over for this project site at no cost to the operation to allow this project to be developed and to support the development in any way possible. We are also asking for the right to use the name Liberty Land in the development of this project.
