Dear Supporters,
Big News! Due to your amazing support - and in just three days - Canada and the UK have followed Australia in getting 3D rape and incest simulation game No Mercy pulled from gaming giant Steam.
No Mercy’s creator, Zerat Games, had not submitted the game for classification in Australia which made its sale here illegal. This exposed Zerat’s attempt to bypass our regultor and this Steam didn’t pull down its game by choice – it was forced.
With more than 16k signatures here so far and 3000 emails to parent company Valve’s CEO Gabe Newell, Canada forced the game’s removal. The game was then removed for UK audiences yesterday after being condemned by the UK technology secretary Peter Kyle, who insisted the “deeply worrying” game should be removed due to its extreme content.
It is being reported today that the game’s developer has announced it will remove its game from Steam (while continuing to defend it as ‘harmless’). However for now we are continuing our campaign until we have confirmation it is no longer available in any country - so please keep sharing our petition and let’s try to hit 20k signatures!
In other good news, Zerat has been removed from Patreon where the developer had close to 1000 paying subscribers. That's one less avenue for Zerat to promote male violence against women as “entertainment”.
While we’re not quite done yet, take a moment to celebrate what we’ve achieved together!
Thanks for your support,
The Collective Shout Team
