Myself and friends, family, colleagues, being sexually assaulted at young ages or older. We have dealt with injustice for far too long. 

Everyday we are seeing these people get away and use non guilty verdicts to defend themselves where a non guilty verdict has become in this day words that mean nothing, as we see so many cases not even make it to court. 

We need to amend the justice system, make it fairer on victims, not having adults getting away with sexual assault when toddlers are claiming to have had "white wee" put on them, or seven to nine year olds assaulted with the braveness to come forward and go through the rigarous traumatising court dates only for nothing to come of it from lack of evidence. 

I had a witness, I had a message of my attacker admitting it, I had clothes that held his spit, I had years of therapy, medications and trauma, nightmares and flashbacks for my attacker to freely work in a local pub on nights out. 

Let's change this! Victims have to live with this for the rest of their lives and their family watch back and see their loved ones lose themselves and their body. Give them at least the justice they can use to help the trauma they will suffer for life be alliviated even slightly.

CREATE SAFE SPACES for pedophiles or people who are thinking of offending to go and be listened to! Somewhere that they can recieve therapy and treatment to stop them from comitting the acts in the first place. Help pedophiles and r**ists to stop themselves before comitting the act or feeling they need to. THIS IS AN ILLNESS THAT IS AFFECTING LIVES DAILY. Don't let more people lose their lives to sexual violence. 
GIVE LONGER SENTENCES to pedophiles and attackers taking lives, than to drug abusers who need rehabilitation or using it as a way out. 

BREAK THE TABOO. SHOW THE AFFECTS AND DAMAGES OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE.

Some things people experience after sexual violence:
nightmares, bedwetting, flashbacks, therapy, counselling, being called a liar and losing friends, being unable to have stable relationships, developing difficulty managing emotions, panic attacks, suicide and self harm tendencies, feeling the imprints of their attackers body on theirs, scratching off affected skin, burning themselves in showers to wash away memories, psychosis, dissosiation. And so much more. Let us alliviate just some of these repercussions for the victim by giving them the gift of justice. Please.
