ACTION NEEDED "Do Your Part for Bears" 2015 On December 16, 2014 the state released what they want for the next five years. Instead of ending the madness of this trophy hunt, they are talking about the following: Expanding dates for bear hunting Allowing more than one bear to be killed per person Adding bow and arrow Shotguns and muzzleloaders are already allowed. Opening up more zones, statewide Keeping the policy vague to make changes without going through proper channels And more. . . The timeline is moving faster than in 2010. By April, the state expects to have the plan in the NJ Register, hold a hearing in May, and end the 60-day public comment period in June. We need to work on this immediately in 2015, and....
