The Issue
On Dec. 4, 2017 it was revealed that two treasured businesses in State College–The Rathskeller and Spats Cafe & Speakeasy– will not have their leases renewed by the property owner, a company owned by the Herlocher family, who owns Herlocher Foods
The Skeller is a historic institution that needs no introduction and has been serving State College residents and Penn State students for 84 years.
