The Issue

Ninteen Americans die each day awaiting organ, tissue, and bone marrow transplants while over 2.3 million prisoners are denied the opportunity to make the ultimate restitution ——— the only act that transcends all others is the gift of life.

Be it apathy or oversight a compete lack of inducement-free national protocol for the willing prisoner to donate LIVING vital organs, tissues, and bone marrow to those beneath their very own sentences of death, seems to be an accepted "norm".

This petition serves to encourage our government's duty to protect its citizens. Your voice will help us demonstrate with the sheer weight of numbers, that legislators will be hard-pressed to dismiss ----- prisoners everywhere represent viable contributions to those in need.

Committed to creating national protocol for those who's bravery and dignity continues to inspire us, means that we need your help to carve a path through bureaucratic adversity with your solidarity and participation.

After all, what is justice if it isn't the act of making something incredible come from something horrible, and, why should a single person be denied the opportunity to live while more than ample resources exist?

At the time of this posting, Inmate Organs has successfully filed a formal legislative proposal to San Francisco's 17th District assemblyman David Chiu's office which safeguards our lengthy RND (since 2011), as well as an unmistakable anthology of compiled data outlining profound opportunities associated with the creation of such legislation / protocol ------ an initiative currently being supported and advocated by Northern California Democratic Senator, Cathleen Galgiani. Common ground for the common good.
