The abuse of power, medical neglect, excessive lockdowns and lack of basic human rights continues in many state prisons. Years of a slavery-driven system will take many years to change. In the meantime, the fight continues for incarcerated persons to be treated as the human beings that they area.

Recently, I attempted to reach a local prison facility for three days before anyone even answered the phone. Family members and loved ones left to feel fear, stress and anxiety as to what is happening with their loved one behind that wall.

WE NEED A "FAMILY LIAISON" THAT WE CAN ALWAYS REACH. PERIOD.
