Prison executives nationwide are complaining about experiencing increase in staff shortages, leading to excessive overtime, staff frustrations and abuse and more negativity. Yet, the Departments of Corrections, EVERYWHERE, are locking up more people than ever. In addition, the parole system is in a horrific state. Individuals that should be paroled are not being paroled and not even being made aware of their parole eligibility. Some people employed by the Parole Commission admit that their system is in shambles, meanwhile people's lives are being misused and ignored. Like animals on a farm their statuses are minimized.

As these individuals are being held long past the time that they should be released, they continue to have DAILY exposure to mental torture and spiritual death. Warehoused in facilities, concrete plantations, they are watching others dying of substance abuse overdoses; people with severe mental health challenges, hanging themselves and/or jumping to their deaths. Constantly increase physical and emotional abuse by staff and fellow incarcerated persons.

Not paroling eligible people is about the continual accumulation of revenue for the prison system. Mass incarceration feeds the prison industrial complex and for many that is far more important than eligible persons being allowed reentry to the communities where they can serve humanity.

LET THESE PEOPLE GO!
