Rehabilitation occurs for very few behind the prison walls. Restorative Justice is the way to go. People who have been warehoused on these concrete plantations are not automatically meant to be societal rejects. Many have accepted that they made mistakes and have taken the steps to correct their paths, even in an environment designed to break them more than help them.

These individuals deserve a second look.
