The late phenomenal woman, Maya Angelou said, "I come as one, but stand as 10,000." At this place on my life Journey, I echo this sentiment in words, and deeds. I come as a voice for a marginalized group of people who MUST be heard. This week, I was honored and humbled to be interviewed on a local TV station about my endeavors to be a community advocate for individuals behind prison walls. I have begun to sign many of them up for NAACP membership and continue to obtain signatures for a much need "Family Liaison" in state prisons.
