Ever since childhood, I have always felt called to be a voice for other people. I felt their pain, discomfort, fears, unhappiness, misery and more. Yet, because of my own personal experiences, their suffering, combined with mine, got stuck in my throat. Consequently, I carried all of those unspoken words and unreleased emotions into adulthood. Ultimately, the day came that I hit the proverbial wall, and a tsunami of words and feelings were released.
On this part of my Journey, I am the voice of mothers and families of incarcerated loved ones. I hear, see and feel the hurt that accompanies this specific experience, and I will NOT be silent about what I see and feel. WE NEED A "FAMILY LIAISION" AND WE NEED IT NOW.
Your signatures, sharing and joining your voice with "A Mother's Cry" is mandatory for the success of this endeavor. Speak up. Be a Voice. Let the work you do, SPEAK.
