Currently, my advocacy for incarcerated persons includes accepting their phone calls; giving mother love and advice and just being a listening ear. Several of them keep in touch with me upon their release and tell me how much my presence in their lives has helped them as they reenter society. I LOVE to "mother" them in anyway I can. In addition, I am signed them up for NAACP memberships as a way to remind them that they are valuable.

However, as much as I love them and what I do, I'm just one person and one voice. I need YOUR help. They need a "Family Liaison" in these prisons to hear and respond to their concerns.
