I am starting this petition to raise awareness among kids about all disabilities. For this, I suggest to start a subject or start teaching kids about the disabilities in all schools. So that they are aware about the topic and make them aware that all kids irrespective of their differences or disability are equal. That they are also a part of society and should be treated with empathy and understanding and love. 

I am raising this petition because, I have a daughter, she has down syndrome. She is 6 years old now, and like any other kid wants to play with other children in the park. Many times I saw that kids do not appreciate her playing with them, mock her and say mean words like, Go away, we dont want to play with you. When I try to explain them, they say that she is mad and that they dont want to play with such kids. I have seen parents pulling their kids away from Demira. She is a lovely child. She doesnt hit, she is playful and wants to play. 

I feel that if kids in school are taught about disabilities, they will develop an understanding which in turn will turn the world in a happy place for our disabled kids. As, school going kids are our future generations. 

My heart cries when I see other kids being rude to her. She isnt much verbal but her expressions tells a lot. She just says to me, Mamma, chalo(lets go). Most of the time, disabled kids are not invited to any birthday parties. 

I call all the parents of society, who are parenting & nurturing disabled kids, and also the parents of neuro typical kids to stand for this cause. So that we can have a kind world, a world full of love and place for all.

I hope that this cause reaches many and knocks the door of education ministry to alter the school curriculum. Make this petition a success by signing and forwarding it. This change is long due and the policy makers needs to know acknowledge it. 

Let's make a change. School education needs a change.
