For several decades of years, the people of Chandgad and Ajra talukas in Kolhapur district have been demanding railway connectivity. Despite repeated appeals, no concrete response has been given by political parties or railway authorities.

Railway service will:

* Help thousands of students travel affordably for higher education.

* Provide farmers and traders with better transport for goods.

* Boost tourism and create local employment opportunities.

We urge the Ministry of Railways and concerned authorities to:

1. Immediately start survey , planning to approve DPR & Budget Provisions for  implementing railway services for this region.

2. Publish a clear timeline and project details for the public.

3. Ensure budget allocation and inclusion in the upcoming railway plan.
