ABC3 has been known for celebrating new years eve as far back as I guess 2015, where they'd feature celebrities of sorts and stuff that either one of the ABC Networks have had to offer both past and present. One thing they haven't done to this day is feature an appearance from characters of non-Australian shows at these things, it would be pretty neat if one of these years Muppets from Sesame Street were able to head on over to Australia for such an occasion.
