Start a vote for those in power to participate in a Hunger-Games like event each term
The Issue
In a world where political power often seems untouchable and unaccountable, many people are left wondering why their voices are not being heard. Personally, I've felt disillusioned by the persistent corruption and lack of concern for the wellbeing of everyday Americans within the corridors of power. Watching decisions that impact millions of lives get influenced by a privileged few has made me question the integrity of our political system.
The idea is simple yet revolutionary: every four years, at the end of each term, we’d hold a nationwide vote. This vote would determine which members of Congress, lobbyists, or federal government officials will participate in a 'Hunger Games'-like event. Such an event would serve as a symbolic reminder that those in power must remain accountable to the people they serve, encouraging them to lead with integrity and dedication.
The event will forever sustainable by having the participants purchasing “sponsor gifts”. These Sponsor Gifts can be anything from water to surgical supplies, although each gift varies from $1,000,000.00 to $15,000,000,000.00 and all earnings will support the construction and the event. any earnings over $50,000,000.00 after the games will be donated across multiple state foundations.
This event would rotate through different states every term, giving more citizens a chance to witness the importance of accountability firsthand. Furthermore, it offers a creative means to pressure officials to prioritize the needs of their constituents over personal gain.
The notion of a "Hunger Games" is not intended to promote harm, but rather serve as a metaphorical alarm to wake those in power to the steep consequences of negligence and greed. By creating such a spectacle, it could galvanize the public to demand higher standards and more ethical behavior from their leaders.
Let's take action and show our lawmakers that we mean business when we ask for integrity and accountability. Please sign this petition and take the first step toward a more responsible and responsive government.
