UPDATE::: STARRETT CITY PUTS "BANDAID" ON MAILBOX ISSUES. Management is putting a "BANDAID" on the mailbox situation by "repairing individual" mailboxes instead of upgrading the whole wall of mailboxes for ALL residents.

Let's see how long that will last. The whole wall of mailboxes are STILL INSECURE AND BROKEN.

Think about this. You can't build a house on a weak foundation.

Now apply that philosophy to the mailboxes. If the FRAMEWORK is weak, how secure are the individual mailboxes? How long do they expect the mailboxes to last?

Please don't accept this "BANDAID". Accepting this temporary fix is accepting their b.s..

And...

What makes other buildings more worthy than others to have secure mailboxes? What will it take for those of us in need of new and secure mailboxes to get them?

If you haven't already,  please sign and share this petition for Starrett to obtain NEW AND SECURE MAILBOXES NOW for it's residents. Our livelihoods as we know it is in jeopardy for every day that this issue goes unresolved putting everyone's sensitive information at risk of being compromised!!! Imagine having someone file ur taxes, gets ur social and date of birth, takes ur prescribed medicines, credit info, medical info and more!!! Now imagine all that you would have to go through to not only rectify the many problems which can take forever but to RECLAIM UR IDENTITY ENTIRELY!!! AND WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC!!!

And let's remember those in our community that are elderly, handicapped, those that are immune compromised, and/or language barriers. Now more than ever, ppl are relying in the safe and SECURE delivery of not only their sensitive mail, but important pkgs and even meds!!! This can be a friend, a family member, your neighbor.
