BBC report reveals Bad Shock Treatment Practices for Depression

Nine minute BBC Radio segment highlights how shock treatment (aka electroconvulsive therapy or ECT) is given without accurately measuring how treatment impacts patients. It mentions there are no agencies in charge of ensuring safe practice standards are maintained. Consequently, patients are harmed and then abandoned without comprehensive brain injury assessments and rehabilitation interventions.
