We have written a detailed email to 14 CHD / heart related charities. We've described our experience and concerns over the FASP / NICOR contradictory position.
We have received some considered responses. There appears to be an inability or reluctance for these charities to openly comment on NHS guidelines or show support for this petition.
Some charities have passed our email to a number of regional CHD network leads. I understand the email has been received by a number of clinical Leads, directors and the CHD clinical reference group. Upon request, we have provided permission for our experience to be anonymised and used in an attempt to influence positive change. We understand closed discussions are taking place.
