Please support our petition to assist IC Care in securing additional Department of Health and Aged Care funding. This funding is crucial for them to expand their services to more clients in the Wollondilly region of NSW. No one should be refused a meal, but IC Care have been forced to turn away new Meals on Wheels and Community Transport clients due to insufficient funding. Imagine if your parent or grandparent got turned away - it's truly devastating.

For isolated, elderly individuals, the simple act of receiving a meal from Meals on Wheels volunteers or getting assistance from social support workers to drive them to go to hospital appointments can mean the world. These acts of kindness and essential services are lifelines for many who may otherwise feel abandoned or overlooked. To deny someone access to these vital services is heart breaking.

IC Care plays a crucial role in our community by providing essential meals and transport services to vulnerable individuals. However, IC Care is facing a critical challenge - they cannot take on new clients due to insufficient funding. In order for IC Care to survive, the Board of Directors have decided that IC Care need to reject hopeful clients essential services such as Meals on Wheels and community transport.

Without additional support from the Australian Government, countless needy individuals will continue to go without these critical services. This not only affects their physical health, but also erodes their overall well-being and independence. This isn't limited to Wollondilly - it's happening all around Australia.

Sign our petition today urging the Australian Government to allocate the necessary funds to IC Care so they can continue their vital work and expand their reach. Your signature can make a difference in ensuring no one is left behind, and every senior and person has access to the services and quality of life they deserve.
