The Issue

Nicole's children have endured an emotional and traumatic experience over the past 3 years when their mother gained the courage to speak up about the abuse she suffered. Nicole has suffered in silence from domestic and financial abuse since 2018. She was manipulated by her abuser to return to their apartment with her two children in 2020. Little did she know she would be sucked into hell from that point forward and be set up by her own abuser to take custody of her children. Nicole's children have been abused and neglected at the hands of their father and the father's girlfriend and would be fearful to tell anyone due their father's hostile and aggressive behavior. Their father would abandon the children in daycare for 10-12 hours a day since they were babies. He would willfully dress them in small, tight and very inappropriate clothing for visits with their mom. They always appeared uncared for and would consistently look dirty.

Their father is currently in prison for mayhem, assault and battery and aggravated assault and battery on Nicole when she was pregnant with the same two children. There is also another criminal case for indecent assault and battery in another court. He was found guilty at the Superior Court on felony and misdemeanor charges. Nicole is a domestic abuse survivor. Soon after the father's incarceration, Nicole lost all rights and access to her children. Nicole’s children have been withheld from her and now only allowed to see her children for 4 hours a week from previously 2 days a week and alternating weekends. This is injustice, emotional and mental abuse for these children. Nicole has not seen her children since May 11th. The children were given to two different guardians who live in two different towns.

The children's father has financially abused them in the past by taking their entire savings to purchase a vehicle for himself in 2019 after driving Nicole's car to the ground. There is a judgement on him to return the children's money when he is released from prison. These children continue to be exploited at the hands of others. Fundraisers are being made using the children's photos by people who are not their guardians. One person is claiming to be taking care of the children who is not a co-guardian and raising $10,000 for legal fees. Coincidentally another is raising a separate $10,000 for a vehicle. A photo of Nicole's children is being used for support and sympathy and they are being referred to as orphans. While these children are being exploited for financial means, Nicole continues to deal with coercive control and abusive litigation.

Nicole has been falsely accused by the children's father and his girlfriend of being followed and stalked. He has been making these claims before Nicole even had a vehicle of her own, when all she does is go to work, return home and keep to herself while grieving for her children. Nicole is a glaring example of how unjust the system is. Nicole stood up to her abuser. She survived and was punished with her rights stripped away from her and her children. We stand united for Nicole's children that they will be reunited with their mother and family and never have to suffer any form of abuse from anyone again. Nicole is not aware of this petition and not on social media so she does not even know about the fundraisers being made with her children's photos. Please sign and share with others so it can reach the Governor's Office and Attorney General Andrea Campbell for change. State legislators and representatives are aware of this situation. Your voice will be heard and it will make a difference. Thank you all for your support in standing with us for Nicole's children.
