Gary Lineker has today been stood down by the BBC over a tweet that was sent from his own personal twitter account.

 The tweet about the new immigration policy and the “Illegal Migrants Bill” states that:

“This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 1930s”

I THOUGHT WE STILL HAD FREE SPEECH IN THIS COUNTRY.

WE DEMAND THE RE-INSTATEMENT OF GARY LINEKER ON MATCH OF THE DAY WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

Mr Lineker does an incredible amount of work for refugees and it is something that he cares passionately about.

The BBC capitulated under right wing pressure because he dared to challenge the policies of this government. He simply stated facts…….

and most ridiculously if all, this is reminiscent of action that would have been taken in Germany in the 1930s
