Trader Joe’s has announced that beginning February 9th, 2022 all crew members who are not fully vaccinated will not be able to work unless they test and submit a valid negative Covid test every week. Trader Joe’s will not be reimbursing their employees for the cost of these tests or the time needed to find and take the test. Since Trader Joe’s announced this policy on November 11th, there has been no reversal whatsoever. 

There are employees of Trader Joe's that have decided to stand for the number one core value of their company: Integrity. They wish to uphold everything that word stands for, including truth, freedom of choice, and personal sovereignty.

As customers and employees of Trader Joe’s we seek to disavow any policy that singles out a specific group of people based on their vaccination status and forces them to undergo weekly testing. Nothing about this policy is fair or logical, considering the widely acknowledged fact that the vaccinated transmit and contract the virus as well, not just the unvaccinated. We believe that this policy is a means to coerce, manipulate, and shame those who are unvaccinated into changing their minds.

The draconian mandates and policies sweeping the nation are simply not right on any moral or ethical level. There are many companies fighting every single day for their employees freedom and their rights, and we implore you to do the same. We believe that it is possible to reverse these decisions, and it will take bravery and tenacity to do so.

The employees of Trader Joe’s have varied backgrounds, perspectives, political views, and religious views, and have all made unique decisions regarding the vaccine. What unites us and inspires us to sign this petition and fight against these policies is a shared belief in something. We believe in supporting each other, despite our differences. We believe in the value of logic, honesty, and integrity. And we believe we can make a difference.

We stand together in demanding a full reversal of any vaccine mandate policy, mandated testing, and any other policy that grossly ignores our constitutional rights and are only being set in place to make us comply.
