I wish I could say Happy New Year but for so many Aussies it has been far from a happy new year.

The start of 2020 has been an absolute nightmare in more ways than one,  many people lost their homes and some lost family members but WE ALL lost millions of our native animals. Our koala population has all but been wiped out, so many bush wallabies, echidnas, wombats, bats, foxes, birds and so many other species have been ravaged by the fires it really has and still is catastrophic. I know in my area there are groups going out into the affected areas and putting out water pipes, food (fruits, berries, hay etc) to help the surviving animals, this way they are less likely to stay in their territory and not wander further looking for food.

I would have updated sooner but I’ve been so depressed by the loss of the animals I’ve found it hard to write.

I guess what makes it even harder is knowing that our government send Australian Animals into  “bushfires” (LIVE EXPORT) all the time has hit me even harder. Seeing the number of ships leaving Australia each week makes me physically ill.

WE HAVE TO TAKE CONTROL OVER LIVE EXPORT - THESE ANIMALS DIE IN SUCH HORRIFIC CONDITIONS AND IN HORRENDOUS PAIN.

The only solution is NO MORE LIVE EXPORTS!!!!!

But unless WE the AUSTRALIAN VOTERS (those of us with a conscience anyway) STAND UP AND MAKE OURSELVES HEARD these animals will continue to be tortured and murdered in some of the worst ways Imaginable.

2020 - LETS DO WHATEVER WE CAN TO END LIVE EXPORTS -  PLEASE START PHONING YOUR LOCAL POLITICIANS, WRITE TO ANY POLITICIAN, EMAIL THEM, DO WHATEVER IT IS YOU CAN DO TO STOP LIVE EXPORTS!

While we were in Canada, USA and Alaska my husband and I put out roughly 800 STAND AGAINST LIVE EXPORT stickers. I wish we’d taken more but I’m proud of how many we got out there.

If anyone wants stickers, I just ask you please pay for the postage....
The next protest march will be on Saturday the 7th of March. We will meet in the same place Martin Place - it will be a 10am start. I’ll put more about this as it gets closer.
