79 Days. Yes it is only 79 days until the Parliament House lawns protest. I’ve noticed in the past few days the Live Export chatter has quietened down some. This is my worry, that it will be forgotten about, we need to keep emailing David Littleproud and others who may consider listening. Ph.. tel:1800 900 090 There has been some news stating that Emanuel’s are facing a criminal investigation. Let’s hope this is carried out properly and thoroughly. If nothing comes of it, I’d hazard a guess that someone somewhere is getting a sweet handshake. So it’s wait and see. BUT If we can continue to share the petition, that would be ideal. I’d really like to present a 200,000 signed petition. I’ve had a pretty good response to the coach/es from Central Railway Station, Sydney to Canberra I’ve also had a lot of people email or message me saying they will be there, hopefully these people do turn up- we need as many people as possible to march and protest against this horrendous trade - Live Export. Just a reminder for anyone wanting to catch the bus, it will leave Central at 6:00 - 6:15am. It will stop at Sutton Forest Shell for a loo break and coffee etc. It should arrive in Canberra at approximately 9:45-10::00. It will drop those on it at the assemble area so we are ready to march by 10:15-10:30 at the absolute latest. The bus will collect everyone at approximate 1:30-1:45 and head back to Sydney, with another stop on the way home. The cost per person for the bus is $25 in total. At this point in time, I’m not sure exactly exactly at Central the bus will be boarding. More on that after the 20th of July. This is when tickets have to booked and paid for. So now I’m asking a favour, if you are definitely going, can you please send me an email (sunlily36@gmail.com) with Yes bus or No bus - and roughly how many people are going with you. I’m trying to gauge how many people are going to be there on the day and how many buses I’ll need.
