Reform SSI Disability to enhance the quality of life and human dignity for disabled individuals and their support systems (families, caregivers, friends potential dating partners, potential spouses etc)

People who are unable to work due to medical conditions either physical or mental disabilities should not be forced to remain single because it is assumed their potential spouse would be financially well-off enough to support them.  In today's economy many would be hard pressed to support themselves on one worker's wages let alone two people.
