Thank you parents and community for supporting our Santa Rosa County teachers!

An agreement has been reached and our teachers have accepted an average increase of 2.07% from the school district to be combined with 1.8% from state funds for a total average raise of 3.87%. 

I am hopeful that for the 2024-25 year, that our district aggressively shows their appreciation for our teachers, the backbone of SRCS, by extending an extremely generous raise increase as their first offer, instead of the sad state of negotiations that have taken place this year.  The stress and demoralization that our teachers have suffered through this year should be purposefully avoided in future raise negotiations. 

Thank you to our teachers that continue to be sacrificial for this school district while being well aware they are worth so much more. Blessings upon each of our teachers and your families for what you do for the children of SRCSD.
