Hi everyone,
It is really pleasing to see so many of you supporting and sharing this initiative. More than 60 people contributed some money to promote it too, which helps generate more momentum and reach to more potential supporters.
If every supporter was to contribute the minimum amount of $2, this "petition" would reach an additional 300,000 supporters. With an average conversion rate of about 4%, this could mean 10,000++ signatures.
All profits from donations go to the Change.org Foundation, a global non-profit for people-powered change, which creates positive impact in some of the world’s most marginalised communities through programs, research, and partnerships for citizen-led campaigning.
I realise that in the grand scheme of things, youth team sports might not be a high priority matter for the Singapore government who has had to deal with much more critical issues over the past 18 months. However it's important for some people, and if this initiative can help get the relevant parties to sit down and discuss about how to improve the situation so children of Singapore, especially those under 12, can enjoy outdoor team sports, this will be time and money well spent.
Thank you and keep sharing.
