The Issue

Horrible Histories ended in 2013 with the beautiful concluding song 'We're History', and it stayed critically acknowledged as the best children's show in the world, even better for being educational.

Then they carried on and everything is worse. Now, I don't want to be reminded of what the world I grew up with has become.

I demand that BBC split Horrible Histories into two different pages on BBC iPlayer the way they did with Doctor Who from 2005-2022 and 2023-onwards. Horrible Histories must be split from 2009-2013, which should have its own glorified page, to Series 6 onwards, that it may sit in the skulls of whatever poor soul still finds it connected in quality to the original.

Series 1-5 reached half of all UK children aged 6-12, entertained children and audiences alike. Modern HH doesn't come anywhere near. No other cast has captured the magic of Horrible Histories, evident by Charles III being announced on the Monarchs song by an AI talking rendition, rather than reshooting it with a new cast, as they couldn't reach the quality. As said not originally by me; by the Royal Television Society.

Adults and children alike have always loved Horrible Histories. But what they don't want to be associated with is new Horrible Histories. With your help, we can show this difference, and keep it there.
