Dear Everyone! Well we have reached 2,500 signatures which is fantastic! Lets keep going!! South West Trains have been having meetings with one our local councillors regarding the revamp of Ashford Station, the gateway to the town. As some of you may have seen the station has started this process and I have had an update from Cllr Sexton. South West Trains are progressing with the following renovations: Raise the kerb height outside the station Tactile paving in the station building in front of the ticket gates. Move ticket machines within the building to a more suitable location Painting the front of the station building. This is fantastic news. South West Trains are directing their focus on our area. Ashford Station will look fantastic after its transformation and more in-keeping with its adjacent stations; Staines & Feltham.
