Finally, after years of campaigning, we have contactless payment added to all our stations in Spelthorne!

Our initiative of course, is about cheaper travel and being in the zone, but to be able to finally use contactless payment card or phone and not have to use a paper ticket is music to our ears! No more queuing at broken ticket machines and waiting at the ticket office. This is a positive step and progress has been made! Hopefully this will mean less fines for unsuspecting rail users who have tapped in further into London. 

The announcement says that all 53 stations will be rolled out using this technology by end of the year but we had noticed that our stations have this technology but it is unclear when we can use these.
