Last week Sir Peter Hendy commented that the service from SWT is not good enough. What are your thoughts? The article I read is on the link attached in the Metro! Yesterday we had a lot of disruption due to several issues on the line. When someone jumps in front of the train it must be awful for the driver, spectators and the families involved and I also understand that the train companies have to do a full investigation. However I wish that the transport companies could work together on days like these!!!! I travelled to Hatton Cross on the Piccadilly Line, waited half an hour for the bus 555, and then when we got on they wouldn't accept our travelcards as payment. A kind gentleman paid my way as I had no cash on me, but others were left behind. I found this totally unacceptable! They had train tickets to Ashford, Sunbury and Walton, yet had to pay extra as the Surrey service wouldn't accept our travelcards even though the bus was going to the same destination.
