Thank you for signing my petition on Returning the State Swim Meet for Special Olympics Ohio back to Columbus, Ohio. Please feel free spread this around, need all the help that I can get to this event back to its original home at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on The Ohio State University campus area. There are both sides to the story, The Ohio State University wanted to start charging Special Olympics Ohio for use of their facilities even the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, that I have heard that was the reason that Special Olympics Ohio decided to move the State Swim Meet with the addition of a basketball tournament and cheerleading competitions at Bowling Green State University to make it the State Winter Games Indoor Sports at BGSU. Hopefully, Speical Olympics Ohio, The Ohio State University Athletic Department, and McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion will find common ground or an reduced rate to get the State Swim Meet back to its rightful home in Columbus, Ohio.
