Hello everyone!

you may have seen our last update saying that we would be taking down this petition. After lots of concern and conversations with Latinx and Indigenous community members, we have decided NOT to take down the petition.

Please note, the owner of the restaurant has decided not to meet with us at this time. We will keep this petition up to continue raising awareness and we hope the owner of the restaurant will see this petition and meet the 5 requests listed, with evidence of all changes made.

Please remember that our right to petition and to share our opinion on this matter is protected by our first amendment right. We have a right to speak on behalf of the public interest and this public interest is evidenced by the hundreds of comments made my BIPOC community members on the owners own instagram posts before this petition was ever created.
