We would like to announce Co-Founder/Admin Alison and her OT assistance dog Bear have been invited down to Westminster, London for an official "Roundtable" meeting on assistance dog rights in August! They were invited to a similar meeting (though there are more people invited to this one) in July of 2016 but it was cancelled when the government changed hands about that time. OTCC is so proud to think that our opinion is valued enough for the government to invite a representative from us to this! As far as Alison knows Bear will be the only Owner Trained Assistance dog, that is not part of a program, to be invited! Updates will be posted on OTCC's FB page:https://www.facebook.com/UK.OT.ASSISTANCE.DOGS/ and if policy changes it will be posted on our website www.assistancedoglaw.co.uk What you all find issues are important to you? What would you want most addressed in this meeting (ADUK will be there, many other programs, Rizzo's Legacy & influential politicians will be there)? She is planning to take ALL the comments this petition to hand out. Some of the comments have already been discussed in previous meetings. For maximum impact, if you want to be involved & were unable to leave a comment on our petition (which is now closed for this) can you post it here or PM us. PS- if your program will be represented at the meeting we would still be happy to bring your views with us.
