This is a post from my page of Bear and I on Wednesday the 25h of November shopping for Thanksgiving. I can't shop without Bear. Shops make me dizzy because of all the visual input. It effects my balance as well as my pain levels. It's taken me six years to learn how to shop on my own and I can only pick up maybe 8 items at the most. I only learned how to see the things I shop for by not worrying about my feet, staggering, balance and pain. So I can focus on what I need to see vs everything that makes me dizzy. Somedays I'm totally blind and Bear smells out items for me. He knows directions and keeps me safe. If the law is changed I would not be able to take Bear with me into shops. He would not be there to help me navigate and I would be back in my wheel chair. I can not push my wheel chair on my own so I would be back to having my husband push it. And I will need special implements to reach items. It would be a huge step back for me.
