Galgos Del Sol, along with other charities like SOS Podenco Rescue, Hope for Podencos, Podencos in Need Scotland and SOS Galgo, work tirelessly to rehome many of Spain's abandoned Hunting dogs. Matilda, was a dog so shut down, nobody expected a happy ending, but she was a fighter and is now living the sweet life with her adopter. Many of the dogs are not so lucky however.
