Hello!
Excited to welcome Waterloop, Cooper Hyperloop, and Warwick Hyperloop as team supporters of this petition!
Waterloop is a team from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, that has been competing in the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition since 2017. This team has also recently been pushing very strongly towards Canadian hyperloop development, and are setting up a hyperloop conference in Canada. If this sounds interesting, see how you can help them.
Cooper Hyperloop is a team from The Cooper Union in New York City, New York. The team was started in 2018, and was in the top 40 teams at the SpaceX 2018 competition. Since then, they have been working hard to get back to the competition and make their school proud. Without the competition, the team attended the Hard Tech Fund Hyperloop Symposium last summer and wrote an interesting paper looking to simulate and improve Eddy Current braking system designs and has continued working towards the European Hyperloop Week final submission. Looking forward to seeing those Eddy Current brake improvements in July!
Warwick Hyperloop is a team from Warwick University in Warwick, Warwickshire, England. They were started in 2018, and had a goal to enter in and win the SpaceX 2020 Hyperloop Competition. Instead, the team has now completed strong work towards the European Hyperloop Week, with a strong focus on levitation. Let's see what they come up with in July!
We will also attending a multi-team chat this Sunday at 1pm Eastern Time. Here is the meeting link: https://meet.google.com/oup-pkvu-ssk Join us in case you have any questions on the petition and to see how the other teams are doing :)
