Currently, students in the SOU Film, Television and Convergent Media program receive diplomas that only display "Communications" as their major. Film/TV/CM is only a concentration of the Communications major and therefore is omitted from the diplomas that graduates receive, despite these students having taken MORE Film and Media courses than Communications. The current diplomas do not accurately portray the education these students received at the university. 

We find this unacceptable and are petitioning the SOU Enrollment Services department to include this concentration on diplomas graduates receive.
