Good news everyone. You may have seen in the Echo and on Facebook there has been a major development in the campaign. I have been waiting to see the paperwork that forms the new franchise agreement before mailing to confirm, but it looks like good news. New lifts will have to be installed at the station by 2019. Discussing with the team it looks very good news, but we will make sure this is delivered. This looks like a concrete commitment that a new operator will have to fulfil. Rest assured we will keep you updated if anything does change. Finally we should thank everyone who has worked on this. This had cross party support and many hours were put in by people from all the main national parties and our MP. Thanks to everyone from Pokesdown Community Forum.
