Yet another museum in danger of being lost forever.

Without Bede, much history would have been lost. He was given the title of Venerable, and his saint's day is celebrated every year on the 27th of May. Besides being a great scholar, Bede was an humanitarian, respected by fellow monks, and his students. He devoted his life to knowledge and deeds beneficial to his contemporaries, and modern scientists.

Since 1980 Bede's World has been a living breathing museum for people of all ages, as well as a hugely important part of North East history. Lets not let it go.
