Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE)/Watchdog and their volunteers are working round the clock to take care of the remaining dogs left at the dog farm where many dogs were burned to death, and many more are being treated for severe burns in the forest fire that spread the region of Uljin, Gyeongsangbuk-do province. The dog farmer relinquished all the remaining dogs. However, the Uljin County Office’s Livestock Division still ignores this issue and has yet to visit the site. CARE is trying to get Uljin County to relocate these dogs to county animal shelters while trying to find families for as many dogs as they can.

CARE and Dog Dream team are dedicated to treating the burned dogs from the dog farm. Also, they are trying their best to find homes for at least the puppies remaining at the dog farm. And they were able to secure adoption opportunities for about 20 dogs. A couple of dog rescue organizations in the United States have offered to help with the adoption of some of these dogs. CARE and Dog Dream must now take care of medical screenings, neutering, and protection required to prepare for the adoption. CARE still needs a lot of help with donations, flight volunteers, and volunteers at the dog farm.
