I went out to ambush the owner with Melisa, our team's rescuer. This restaurant was once brought to the authority with the evidences hanging two dogs on a tree but nothing was happening till now. It is likely that the city official in charge is bribed by the owner, no evidences but this is one of the hardest thing to stop us from fighting this battle till the end. I took the liberty of taking two pups saying that I will return them to the restaurant only when they are gone out of business. We, the rescue team filed three complaints at the city hall yesterday. Name of the restaurant is "Gamasot" means "huge iron hot pot" This is located in Incheon city near Seoul. I am keeping the pups till they go out of business. This case maybe tough but will fight till the owner surrender all the twelve dogs to our rescue team. 5/13/15 [Differences? Discrimination?] Click for photos: https://www.facebook.com/savekoreandogs/posts/500672416749490 The Indonesian migrant workers hung a dog and now in jail being prosecuted, while this dog meat restaurant hung two dogs on a tree and still in business. The workers had the dog barbecued while this woman boiled the dogs, that is the only difference I see. This is so unfair. I protested against this as I often see dogs get hung to be cooked in villages but no one's been charged for it. The authority replied and said the Indonesians were too stupid to had that on Social Network. Why this is happening? The city official who went out to investigate on the restaurant last month must have been bribed (we call this in Korean "handing over an envelope”) by the woman. I bet this is it, that is why Animal Act exists only for the name sake, it was never useful. We are bringing this case to all the government departments concerned now. Will update on this.
