We propose a concrete skatepark to be built in Grantham, Lincolnshire. 

Currently the closest available skatepark is at Bottesford and various other towns/villages in Lincolnshire but unfortunately, not Grantham. 

We believe skateparks are an avenue for promoting a healthy community lifestyle and also a place where all ages can partake and socialise in the sports they enjoy (skateboarding, bmx, blading and scooter to name a few). With all of the above, people can build genuine skills and discover new talents in a safe challenging environment. After all skateboarding is now an Olympic sport.

Finally, myself as well as many others simply love the sports that require a skatepark and would simply like the ability to do this in the comfort of our own local town.
