Leopards deserve more support

People sadly don't realize how serious the situation is of the leopard in South Africa but also in many other African and Asian countries they are endangered or under threat. We have 1841 signatures, or translated better: 1841 wordwide who have true interest in the leopard. This is a very serious situation indeed. People want to see the leopard up close on a safari, or in a zoo...take their pictures and even hope to cuddle at the so-called cuddle farms, but to sign and share is too much to ask for. 4500 is the estimated number of leopards in South Africa..........in India the number of leopards are declining (no census yet to confirm numbers but we know how it went in South Africa), In Iran, Sri Lanka, Java, Russia......so almost the whole of Asia, the leopards are seriously endangered. I honestly hope more than 1844 people (in 1,5 week) will give support to the leopard on a crucial moment like this. Leopard 'expert' Fred Barrange reacted to this petition with "long overdue - thanks so much!" If we wait longer......so please keep sharing, signing........tell your friends about the situation of the leopard: the true situation. And fellow-conservationists and projects do step aside of your personal feelings and ego for a moment. The leopard needs all of us, to fight against the S.A. government and Forest Department with their decisions leading just to extinction of the leopard!
