This is a very interesting article about a study completed on the continued consumption of rhino horn in Vietnam.
Wild rhino horn is still preferred to farmed rhino horn.
Wild rhino horn is consumed as a status symbol by wealthy Vietnamese. It is still consumed for medicinal purposes.
South Africa is entirely responsible for promoting this continued use by legalizing the trade in rhino horn.
